You need a current and valid driver’s licence that is not a learner’s or provisional licence. The licence must be in English. For most cars and small trucks up to 4.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), a standard car licence is sufficient. Larger commercial vehicles may require a Light Rigid (LR) or Medium Rigid (MR) licence.
All drivers must be at least 21 years old. A daily young driver fee may apply for drivers aged 21 to 24.
All passenger vehicle rentals include unlimited kilometres. The cost also includes standard liability protection. You may be able to add optional extras like child seats or GPS.
